Emily Montague was born in Livingston, New Jersey USA, on 30 August 1984, so her zodiac sign is Virgo and she holds American nationality. She is an actress and a film producer, probably best known for having portrayed Abby Deveraux in three episodes of the romantic drama series “Days of Our Lives” in 2007 – the show has been running since 1965. It currently stars Frances Reid, John Clarke, and Macdonald Carey and follows people living in the made-up city Salem. It has won 226 awards and has been nominated for 465 others including four Primetime Emmys.
Early life and education
Emily was raised alongside her younger sister in Livingston by their father who was a car mechanic, and their mother who was a nurse.
She became interested in acting at the age of six when she started watching movies and TV series with her mother, and would often perform for her and tell her how she was going to become a famous actress one day. She attended a local high school in Livingston, where she was a member of the school’s drama club and appeared in most of the plays performed there. Upon matriculation in 2002, Emily didn’t enroll at a college but moved to Los Angeles in California to pursue her dream of becoming a famous actress.

Emily made her debut film appearance in 2004 when she starred as Emily in the short film “Paper or Plastic”, about a man working at a store who falls in love with his dream girl. In the same year, she portrayed a supporting character in the comedy movie “Door to the Throne”, which starred Mark Aiken and Dean Collins but which passed by unnoticed. Then Emily appeared in the drama war film “Beauty in Chaos” which is about art in a time of war.
The year 2005 saw Emily star as Sasha in the short drama film “Portrait of a Man and a Woman: Los Angeles, c. 2004” which was directed and written by Tara Samat and which starred Sebastian DeVicente and Sebastian Feldman.

Some of Emily’s following roles were in the crime drama mystery series “Close to Home” and the comedy crime series “Boston Legal”, which starred James Spader and William Shatner and which was very popular in the US as it won a Golden Globe Award. Chris and Emily dated for three years before marrying on 29 July 2006, in a small ceremony attended by their closest friends and family, but in 2010 they divorced due to what appears to be infidelity from Chris’ side, as he (officially) started dating a girl shortly after the divorce was finalized. Chris’ first child was born in February 2020.
In 2013, Emily started dating Damon Dayoub, who is an actor and a producer known for his supporting role in the romantic drama comedy series “Single Ladies”. They married on 2 May 2015, and Emily gave birth to their daughter Ava James Dayoub in December 2017 – the family of three is currently living at their home in Los Angeles.

Emily likes to bake and has shared many of her tips and recipes with her fans on Instagram, but has recently set her profile to private after being harassed by a fan. She likes to travel and has been all around the US to shoot for her movies and TV series, while she has also been to Europe on several occasions, visiting countries such as England and France among others, however, she is currently focused on staying home and raising her daughter.
She is keen on being in nature and often takes her daughter for a walk in a park close to her home, while the family of three occasionally goes on field trips together.
