Apollo Bowie Flynn Rossdale is the third and the youngest of three sons of the music celebrity couple. His father Gavin Rossdale is English singer, songwriter, guitarist and an actor, best known as the frontman of the English rock band Bush. His mother, Gwen Stefani is a Grammy Award-winning musician, singer, songwriter, actress and record producer who is widely recognized for previously being the lead vocalist of the American rock band No Doubt.
Early Life and Bio
Apollo was born under the zodiac sign of Pisces on the 28th February 2014, in Los Angeles, California, USA, and apart from being of American nationality and white ethnicity, he also has British descent through his father. The six-year old Apollo has two older brothers – Kingston James McGregor Rossdale, born in 2006, and Zuma Nesta Rock Rossdale, born in 2008. The two middle names in Apollo‘s full personal name – ‘Bowie’ and ‘Flynn’ – originate from maiden names of his parents’ mothers. In November 2016 when he was just two, his parents divorced.
Gavin McGregor Rossdale was born on the 30th October 1965 in London, England, into the family of Barbara Stephan Bowie and Douglas Rossdale, and besides being of English nationality, he is also of Scottish and Russian-Jewish ancestry. Gavin began his career in the music world in the mid-1980s as a member of the band Midnight. In 1992, alongside Nigel Pulsford, Gavin Rossdale formed the band Future Primitive, then after Robin Goodridge and Dave Parsons joined them, they became Bush.

In 1994 the band released its debut studio album entitled “Sixteen Stone”, which peaked at No. 4 on the US Billboard 200 charts, featuring hit singles such as “Everything Zen”, “Glycerine” and “Comedown”. The album was later certified 6-times multi-platinum with over 10 million sold copies. Following this success, the band released seven more albums including commercially most successful ones such as “Razorblade Suitcase””(1996), “The Science Of Things” (1999), “The Sea of Memories” (2011) and “Black and White Rainbows” (2017). Their latest studio album entitled “The Kingdom” hit the charts in March 2020.
Additionally, Gavin’s works have been featured in several motion pictures, such as the 2002 action blockbuster movie “XXX” as well as in the 2003 Sci-Fi action film “Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines”. In 2005, Rossdale’s single “Bullet Proof Skin” was included in the original soundtrack of the Sci-Fi movie “Stealth”.
In 2001 Rossdale made his acting debut in the comedy film “Zoolander”, while in 2005 he appeared opposite Keanu Reeves in the fantasy action horror movie “Constantine”. Later that year he starred in the sport history drama film “The Game of Their Lives”, while in 2007 he appeared in the comedy crime movie “How to Rob a Bank (and 10 Tips to Actually Get Away with It)”.

Gwen Renée Stefani was born on the 3rd October 1969 in Fullerton, California, the second of four children of Patti Flynn, an accountant and a housewife, and Dennis Stefani, a marketing executive. She has an older brother named Eric, and two younger siblings – sister Jill and brother Todd. Besides being of American nationality and white ethnicity, she is also of some American Italian descent through her father.
Gwen’s endeavors in the world of music began in 1986, when her brother Eric invited her to perform as a vocalist for the ska band that he was gathering at that time, named No Doubt. In 1992 the band released an eponymous debut studio album, which was followed by two more studio albums “The Beacon Street Collection” and “Tragic Kingdom”, both in 1995.
