Childhood and education
Tracey was raised alongside her younger brother Michael McQuarn, who is now a film producer and director, by their father who was a businessman, and their mother who was a lawyer. Tracey grew up as an organized and responsible person, as her parents were working most of the time and she had to take care of her brother.

She attended a public high school in Los Angeles where she was mostly focused on her studies, but was also physically active playing soccer and tennis. Upon matriculation, she enrolled at Stanford University, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychobiology in 1987, while she obtained her Doctorate of Business from Southern University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana in 2004.
Career as a film producer
Tracey launched her career after graduation in 1987, and worked as a film producer for the next 10 years before gaining recognition in 1997, when she produced the comedy film “Soul Food”, starring Vanessa Williams, Vivica A. Fox and Nia Long, and which follows a family which is on the edge of breaking apart; the movie won six awards and was nominated for 11 others.
In 2000, she served as the executive producer for the comedy series “Soul Food: The Series” which won seven National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) Image Awards, and was nominated for 31 others; the series ran until 2004.
From 2004 to 2009, Tracey was the executive producer of the comedy drama series “College Hill”, starring Willie Macc and JayTee Thompson, and which follows eight college students who are struggling to pass their exams and have fun at the same time. The year 2011 saw her produce the comedy drama movie “Jumping the Broom”, which won three awards and was nominated for 13 others. In 2015, she was the executive producer of the romantic comedy movie “With This Ring” starring Regina Hall and Jill Scott, and which won one award and was nominated for eight others.
Around the same time, Tracey produced the reality series “Deion’s Family Playbook” which follows the life of her boyfriend Deion Sanders.
In 2014 she began co-hosting the entertainment news program “Extra”, winning an Emmy Award for her performance, and hosting the show until 2017, while she also hosted the reality competition series “Queen Boss” in 2016. In August 2018, she was the executive producer for the drama series “Games People Play”, which follows three women trying to become professional sportswomen. Tracey’s most recent work has been on the crime drama mystery movie “The Postcard Killings” in 2020, which starred Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Famke Janssen and follows an American detective who is investigating his daughter’s murder in London.
Other business ventures
Since 1993, Tracey has been serving as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and President of her own multi-million dollar enterprise Edmonds Entertainment, working in the industry including on movies, TV series, and shows. In 2006, she joined Our Stories Films studio as their Chief Operating Officer (COO) and President for nine years, leaving in January 2015 to take up the role of Boardroom Advisor for California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Since August 2012 to this day, Tracey has been working as the CEO, Editor-in-Chief and the President of her own lifestyle and wellness brand AlrightNow, while she is also on the Producers Guild of America’s national board of directors.

In 2002, Tracey was rewarded with Ebony Magazine’s Outstanding Women in Marketing & Communications Entrepreneur Award, followed by her receiving the Volunteers of America Legacy of Leadership Award in 2004.

On 5 September 1992, Tracey married Kenneth ‘Babyface’ Edmonds, who is a singer, songwriter, and a record producer. She gave birth to their first son Brandon shortly after the wedding, and in April 2001 to their second son Dylan.
Tracey and Kenneth’s divorce was finalized on 22 June 2007 and Kenneth went on to marry Nicole Pantenburg in 2014.
In 2008, Tracey started dating Eddie Murphy, a famous American actor, comedian, and singer, but their relationship lasted only for a couple of months. Since 2012, Eddie has been dating Paige Butcher (and he has 10 children).

Deion Luwynn Sanders was born in Fort Myers, Florida USA, on 9 August 1967, so his zodiac sign is Leo and he holds American nationality. He is currently working as a sports analyst, after playing in the National Football League (NFL) for 14 years.
Deion was raised in Fort Myers, and played football, baseball and basketball while attending North Fort Myers High School. Upon matriculation in 1985, he was selected by the Kansas City Royals baseball team, but decided not to sign with them and attend Florida State University being their football and baseball player, and running track for them. In 1988, he received the Jim Thorpe Award from the Oklahoma Sports Hall of Fame.
Upon graduation, he became a football player but continued playing baseball part-time, playing with four teams for nine years. He is best known for having played with The New York Yankees from 22 June 1988 to 1991 when he signed with the Atlanta Braves, and then in 1997 with the Cincinnati Reds staying with them for one season before taking a three-year break, returning to the Reds in 2001. In the same year, he began playing for the Syracuse Chiefs, then retired from baseball at the end of the year.
He began playing in the NFL in 1989 when he signed with Atlanta Falcons, and stayed with them until 1993.

In 1994, he began playing for the San Francisco 49ers, then on 9 September 1995 moved tothe Dallas Cowboys. He joined the Washington Redskins in 2000 signing a seven-year contract with them, but retired after just one year. He returned in 2004 to play for the Baltimore Ravens, but finally retired from playing in January 2006, when he joined the NFL Network as their sports analyst.
Deion is also a rapper, and his debut album “Prime Time” was released in 1994. He is a writer too, having co-written his autobiography with J. M. Black entitled “Power, Money & Sex: How Success Almost Ruined My Life”. Deion is a philanthropist who has donated an undisclosed amount of money for those hit by Hurricane Katrina in 2005, and challenged all other athletes to donate at least $1,000 to the cause.
