While in college, Dennis Rodman was spotted by the Detroit Pistons and his professional playing career started when he was chosen as the third pick in the second round of the NFL Draft by the team in 1986. He played for the Detroit Pistons until 1993, then for the San Antonio Spurs from 1993 to 1995, the Chicago Bulls between 1995 and 1998, the Los Angeles Lakers in 1999 and the Dallas Mavericks in 2000.
During his career, Dennis was named seven times to the NBA All-Defensive First Team, to the NBA All-Star game twice, won five NBA championships with his teams, two NBA Defensive Player of the Year Award.. In 2005, he posed naked for PETA, the first man to do that, and during the same year became Commissioner of the Lingerie Football League.
