Tyler James Williams was born in Westchester County, New York State USA, on 9 October 1992, so his zodiac sign is Libra and he holds American nationality. He is an actor and a rapper, best known for having starred as Chris Rock in the comedy series “Everybody Hates Chris” from 2005 to 2009. It also starred Terry Crews, Tichina Arnold and Tequan Richmond in the story following an African-American teenager living with his strange family in the ‘80s.

Early life and education

Tyler was raised alongside his two younger brothers – Tyrel Jackson and Tylen Jacob – in Westchester County, by their father Le’Roy Williams who is serving as a police sergeant, and their mother Angela Williams who is a singer. All three boys started acting while attending elementary school, and are today known in the film industry, Tyrel is popular for starring in the Disney series “Lab Rats”, while Tylen is known for portraying James Phillips in the sitcom “Instant Mom”.

Tyler attended a local high school, where he played soccer and basketball, while mostly being focus on working on his acting skills and appearing in school plays.

Upon matriculation, he didn’t enroll at college but decided to focus on his career as an actor.

Tyler made his debut TV series appearance in 2000 at the age of eight, in several episodes of the educational children’s series “Sesame Street”. He portrayed another recurring character, Noah in the apocalyptic horror series “The Walking Dead” from 2014 to 2016, while appearing in several other series in the meantime, such as “Criminal Minds”, “Ballers”, and “Instant Mom”.

From 2016 to 2017, he played the lead role as Russ ‘Monty’ Montgomery in the police procedural series “Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders”, while some of his latest appearances in series have been in “Dear White People” in 2018, and “Whiskey Cavalier” and “A Black Lady Sketch Show” in 2019.

He made his debut (uncredited) film appearance in 2005, in the sport drama film “Two for the Money”, which starred Al Pacino and Matthew McConaughey.
