Albert Samuel ‘Bertie’ Highmore was born in London, England, on 8 February 1995 – his zodiac sign is Aquarius and he holds British nationality. He is an actor, but perhaps best known for being the brother of Freddie Highmore, a more famous British actor.

Early life and education

Bertie was raised alongside Freddie in London by their father, Edward Highmore who was a British actor probably still best known for his roles in “Doctor Who” and “Howards’ Way”, and their mother Sue Latimer, who was working as a talent agent.

Bertie attended Highgate School where he first became interested in acting, mostly because he was motivated by his father and his brother.

He joined the school’s drama club and appeared in nearly all the plays performed there, while he also appeared in plays performed at a local theatre. Bertie was also sporting, as he played soccer and tennis at school. He matriculated in 2013, then didn’t enroll at college but rather focused on his career as an actor.

Career as an actor

Bertie actually launched his acting career in 2004, when he appeared in the biographical family drama movie “Finding Neverland”, which starred Johnny Depp, Kate Winslet and Julie Christie, and which is about the writer (Sir) J.
