Childhood and education
Eija was raised in Stockholm alongside her five brothers – Alexander, Bill, Gustaf, Sam and Valter Skarsgård. Her parents divorced in May 2007, and Stellan went on to marry Megan Everett who is a former model, and gave birth two of his sons and Eija’s half-brothers Ossian and Kolbjörn. After the birth of his eight child, Stellan had a vasectomy, believing that eight is enough, supported by Eija and his other children.
Growing up alongside her brothers with her parents being away most of the time, Eija became interested in playing video games and watching horror movies, while three of her brothers became interested in acting and have followed in their father’s footsteps, becoming actors and appearing in many of Stellan’s movies. Eija attended a local high school in Stockholm, where she was physically active playing a variety of sports, and after matriculation, as she had already become a model, Eija decided not to pursue a college degree.
Career as a model
Eija was noticed by a manager of a modelling agency at the age of 14, when she kept her father company at the premiere of the movie “Pirates of the Caribbean” in which he portrayed Bootstrap Bill Turner.
She signed her first contract just days later, and the following four years saw her appear on cover pages of magazines and in TV commercials. By the time she was 18, she had become bored with modelling and decided to quit, later explaining in an interview that she had enough of being told she had to lose or gain weight.
After leaving the modelling industry she began working as a manager of clubs, while she is today the a manager of the nightclub Vardagsrummer, located in Stureplan, Stockholm.

Eija has been in a relationship with Zeke Tastas for years now. The two met in 2015 during one of her father’s events, and have been together since, without any rumors or controversies surrounding the relationship.

Zeke launched his career by appearing in commercials before becoming a creative director, writing and producing over 100 TV commercials. He is best known for writing the one-hour long documentary movie “Cirkus Zlatan”, which is about the famous Swedish soccer player Zlatan Ibrahimovic. Today, Zeke is writing science fiction, horror and fantasy movies, often together with his friend Moa Gammel.

Eija grew up being a fan of parties and going out, while her parents and brothers would often organize dinner parties at home which Eija enjoyed attending.
